NEXUS AG:49% Increase in Sales and substantial Improvement in Operating Result

The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— Villingen-Schwenningen, November, 29, 2005: NEXUS AG, Villingen-Schwenningen, listed in Prime Standard, improved its sales in the first nine months 2005 to KEUR 15,102 compared to KEUR 10,152 in the previous year (+49%) and achieved a substantially better operating result before taxes of KEUR 224 compared to KEUR -586 (+KEUR 810) in the previous year. Sales in the core business, Health Care Software, increased by 77% to KEUR 11,354 (previous year: KEUR 6,417). The Health Care Service Division achieved sales of KEUR 3,748 compared to KEUR 3,735 (+0,3%). The result after taxes improved from KEUR -822 to KEUR 21. The EBITDA increased by KEUR 1,230 to KEUR 2,548 with respect to the first nine months 2005. The operative cash flow developed ongoing well and reached KEUR 3,800 (previous year: 3,129). GMT, Frankfurt is consolidated in these figures for the first time with a total of five months. The third quarter closed with sales of KEUR 5,230 compared to KEUR 3,839 in the previous year (+ 36%). The driving force of the increase in sales is the Health Care Software sector, rising by approximately 47% to KEUR 3,741 (previous year: KEUR 2,549). The third quarter closed with an operating result before taxes of KEUR +15 (previous year: -64). Cash reserves increased by EUR 2.8 million to EUR 19.5 million. NEXUS develops and sells software and total solutions to support medical and administrational processes in the medical sector.
