The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— AD-HOC RELEASE OF NEXUS AG NEXUS AG: A big step forward in sales and profitability in 2005 Villingen-Schwenningen, March 31st, 2006: NEXUS AG, Villingen-Schwenningen, is listed in the Prime Standard and posted consolidated sales of KEUR 20,983 after KEUR 16,395 in the previous year (+ 28%). The company improved earnings before taxes of KEUR 422 in 2005 following KEUR -119 (+ KEUR 541) in the previous year. The EBITDA increased substantially by KEUR 695 to KEUR 3,363. Operative cash flow development was very positive and reached KEUR 7,553 in 2005 following KEUR 4,310 in 2004 (+ 75.2 %). The fourth quarter closed with sales of KEUR 5,881 (fourth quarter 2004: KEUR 6,243) and earnings before taxes of KEUR 198 (fourth quarter 2004 KEUR 479) slightly lower than in the previous year. In the core business of Healthcare Software, sales increased by 42.8% over the entire year to KEUR 15,708 (previous year KEUR 10,997). The Healthcare Service division generated KEUR 5,275 in sales and was about 2.3% lower than in the previous year (2004: KEUR 5,398). After-tax earnings increased from KEUR -470 in 2004 to KEUR 262 by KEUR 732. Following the positive operative cash flow, the cash position has increased by EUR 2.7 millions and sums up to EUR 19.4 millions. In these numbers the consolidation of NEXUS / GMT GmbH, Frankfurt, is included for a period of nine months. The positive development of the NEXUS group in 2005 resulted from improved market positions and very good order entry during this period. NEXUS develops and markets IT-solutions for the healthcare sector.
