NEXUS AG / Final Results

Villingen-Schwenningen, 26 March 2007: NEXUS AG, Villingen Schwenningen,
listed in Prime Standard, had consolidated sales of KEUR 26,121 in 2006
compared to KEUR 20,983 in the previous year (+25%) and achieved a
substantially better operating result before taxes of KEUR 1,127 compared
to KEUR 422 (+167%) in the previous year. The EBITDA increased by KEUR 658
to KEUR 4,056.
Sales in the core business, Health Care Software, increased by 39% to KEUR
21,882 (previous year: KEUR 15,708) over the whole year. The Healthcare
Service Division had approx. 20% fewer sales with KEUR 4,239 than in the
previous year (2005: KEUR 5,275).
The fourth quarter in the complete company closed with sales of KEUR 9,011
(4th quarter 2005: KEUR 5,881) and an operating result before taxes of KEUR
370 (4th quarter 2005: KEUR 198).
The result after taxes improved by KEUR 443 from KEUR 262 in 2005 to KEUR
704. The operative cash flow is KEUR 2.45 million following 7.53 million
in the previous year (-67.9%). As of 31 December 2006, the operative cash
flow of NEXUS AG was KEUR 17.4 million (previous year: EUR 19.4 million.
The reduction is mainly due to investments and payments for company
acquisitions.
NEXUS Schweiz GmbH, Schwerzenbach is consolidated in these figures with
seven months.
The great increase in sales and result of the NEXUS Group is mainly due to
its substantially improved market position and a large number of orders
received during the reporting period.
NEXUS develops and sells IT solutions for health care systems. These
solutions make it possible for hospitals, rehabilitation and social
institutions to convert to digital patient information. NEXUS also supports
integrated health care, which enables data exchange between primary care
physicians, hospitals and rehabilitation clinics.
