Villingen-Schwenningen, March 22, 2010: NEXUS AG, Villingen-Schwenningen,
listed in Prime Standard, increased its consolidated sales of KEUR 34,824
in the previous year to KEUR 40.363 (+15.9%) in 2009. The EBITDA increased
by 20.3% to KEUR 7,404 (2008: KEUR 6,155).
NEXUS AG has once again increased sales and result with two-figure growth
and has continued its positive development of previous years. Sales in the
core business, Healthcare Software, increased by 19.4% to KEUR 36,035
(2008: KEUR 30,175) over the whole year. The Healthcare Service Division
had 7% lower sales with KEUR 4,328 than in the previous year (2008: KEUR
4,649).
The result after taxes reached KEUR 2,103 in 2009 after KEUR 1,533 in 2008
(+37.2%) and contains a reduction of deferred taxes of approx. KEUR 48. The
result before taxes was KEUR 2,232 following KEUR 1,854 in 2008 (+20.4%).
The operative cash flow is KEUR 7,313 following KEUR 4,258 in the previous
year (+71.7%). The net liquidity has increased by 21.8% to KEUR 11,519
(2008: KEUR 9,460). The equity of NEXUS AG per December 31st 2009 is KEUR
47,042 and equals 80.0% of the balance sheet.
NEXUS develops and sells IT solutions for health care systems. These
solutions make it possible for hospitals, rehabilitation and social
institutions to convert to digital patient information. NEXUS also supports
integrated healthcare, which enables data exchange between primary care
physicians, hospitals and rehabilitation clinics.
More than 350 staff members in the NEXUS Group develop software and IT
solutions, with which approximately 90,000 users in 18 countries work.
