Villingen-Schwenningen, 25th March 2013: NEXUS AG, Villingen-Schwenningen,
listed in Prime Standard, increased its consolidated sales of KEUR 53,534
in the previous year to KEUR 62,340 (+16.4%) in 2012. The result after
taxes increased by 25.3% to KEUR 5,762 (previous year: KEUR 4,597).
In 2012 NEXUS AG once again increased sales and result with a two-figure
growth and has continued its positive development of previous years.
Sales in the core business, Healthcare Software, increased by 15.0% to KEUR
56,921 (previous year: KEUR 49,492) over the whole year. The Healthcare
Service Division had 34.1% higher sales with KEUR 5.419 than in the
previous year (2011: KEUR 4,042). The share of revenue generated abroad
equals 44.7% after 45.1% in the previous year.
The result after taxes reached KEUR 5,762 after KEUR 4,597 in 2011
(+25.3%). The result before tax improved to KEUR 5,823 after KEUR 4,524 in
2011 (+28.7%). EBITDA reached KEUR 11,854 after KEUR 10,762 in the previous
year (+10.1%). The earnings per share increased by 30.3% to 43 Cent per
share (2011: 33 Cent).
The equity of NEXUS AG per December 31st, 2012 is KEUR 68,133 (previous
year: KEUR 58,057), cash and securities are KEUR 23,051 (2011: KEUR
22,089). Significant financial liabilities don't exist. Equity-ratio equals
67.3% of the balance sheet.
NEXUS AG - the eHealth-Specialist - develops and sells IT solutions for
health care systems. These solutions make it possible for hospitals,
rehabilitation and social institutions to convert to digital patient
information. NEXUS also supports integrated healthcare, which enables data
exchange between primary care physicians, hospitals and rehabilitation
clinics.
More than 566 staff members in the NEXUS Group develop software and IT
solutions for health care, with which approximately 158,000 users in 23
countries work.
