Dispositions and acquisitions	(9) Dispositions and acquisitions Nine-month period ended September 30 2025: Acquisitions: During the first nine months of 2025, we spent $48 million on the acquisition of behavioral health care businesses and property located in the United Kingdom. Divestitures: During the first nine months of 2025, we received $3 million from the sales of assets and businesses. Nine-month period ended September 30 2024: Acquisitions: During the first nine months of 2024, there were no acquisitions. Divestitures: During the first nine months of 2024, we received $30 million from the sales of assets and businesses.

The entire disclosure for business combinations, including leverage buyout transactions (as applicable), and divestitures. This may include a description of a business combination or divestiture (or series of individually immaterial business combinations or divestitures) completed during the period, including background, timing, and assets and liabilities recognized and reclassified or sold.
