Provided that goodwill corresponds to the acquisition of a business and not merely the acquisition of real estate property, the Company's Standard Bearer segment appropriately does not carry a goodwill balance. Management has evaluated its goodwill and intangible assets and determined there was no impairment during the years ended December 31, 2024, 2023 and 2022. The Company has recognized cumulative goodwill impairment losses of $7,410, since inception in 1999.
