Signing Memorandum of Understanding with Microsoft Corporation

to Enter into a Strategic Partnership

KT Corporation and Microsoft Corporation announced that they have signed a memorandum of understanding to enter into strategic partnership. The new strategic partnership represents the second phase of an ongoing relationship with Microsoft Corporation that began in December 2001. KT Corporation and Microsoft Corporation have agreed to explore the possibilities of establishing a research and business development center and matching fund to cover expenses from using contents, technology and hiring personnel. The main mission of the research and business development center is to develop new business models for KT Corporation. Both parties also agreed to set exchange program through jointly holding seminars and dispatching personnel.
