The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Final Figures to be Announced on April 29, 2002 Munich, March 28, 2002 — Based on preliminary figures for fiscal 2001, NorCom Information Technology AG expects total revenues to run between EUR 33.5 and 34 million (previous year: EUR 35.8 million), with an operating loss before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (LBITDA) of EUR 8.5 – 9 million. Continuing economic difficulties in the fourth quarter have left their mark, particularly on NorCom’s European subsidiaries. With release of the final figures postponed due to circumstances beyond the Group’s control, no numbers can be attached to anticipated non-cash-relevant special depreciations at this time. Total liquidity (including bonds) is valued at EUR 17.3 million by the end of the fiscal year, a marked improvement over the previous quarter’s EUR 12.5 million. The Group will release its final figures on April 29, 2002. The need for one of NorCom Information Technology AG’s subsidiaries to refile its certified annual report led to unexpected delays. The reason for the delays was outside the Group’s control and has been dealt with. This did cause a delay in consolidated bookings, and consequently an official closing report for the Group has not yet been issued. NorCom has been in close contact with the auditing firm of KPMG (Bayerische Treuhandgesellschaft AG) as well as the Deutsche Börse AG (German Stock Exchange) throughout the entire filing process.
