NorCom announcing final figures for fiscal 2006

- Sales up 21 percent to € 29.88 million
- Net income of € 2.53 million (up 153 percent year on year)

Munich, April 4, 2007 – NorCom Information Technology AG today announced
its final figures for fiscal 2006. At € 29.88 million, NorCom’s sales were
up roughly 21 percent on the previous year (€ 24.75 million).

Consolidated net income was particularly encouraging, rising to € 2.53
million, an increase of 153 percent compared with the previous year (€ 1.0
million).

All in all, the NorCom Group achieved earnings before interest, tax and
depreciation/amortization (EBITDA) of € 2.56 million (previous year € 3.23
million) and earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) of € 1.84 million
(previous year € 2.73 million). The decline in earnings over the previous
year is mostly due to NorCom’s new strategic positioning and the related
product spending.

Market position and growth strategy

NorCom’s favorable performance in 2006 proves that the Group is headed in
the right direction with its growth strategy entailing intensified sales
and marketing activities for software products and diversification into new
customer segments.

Heightened internationalization is playing a crucial role in the NorCom
Group’s growth strategy, which is being implemented with forays into the
media industry in particular. NorCom’s marketing strategy will be
particularly focusing on Western and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and
Asia. At the beginning of 2007 NorCom was able to achieve further sales
successes in Russia and gain its first customer in Beirut, Lebanon.

Outlook

NorCom expects business to be generally favorable in 2007, although its
priority will be on boosting sales and extending its product business.
Growth of around 10 percent is projected for the consulting segment, while
sales in the product segment revolving around the core NCPower product are
expected to double. In addition to boosting sales, NorCom will continue to
focus on profitability. However, it will be investing heavily again in its
high-growth software product business in 2007 to reinforce its market
position in this area and to establish itself as a key player in what is
still a fairly young market.

'2006 was a break-through year for NorCom as our previous efforts,
particularly to improve the functionality of our NCPower product and
intensify international sales activities, started to pay off,' explains
Viggo Nordbakk, CEO and founder of NorCom AG. 'The extremely favorable
feedback which we are receiving on our NCPower multimedia production system
and the very high capacity utilization in our consulting business show that
we are headed in the right direction,' he adds.
