Its principal business activity is the manufacture and sale of activewear, hosiery and underwear. The Company's fiscal year ends on the Sunday closest to December 31 of each year. These consolidated financial statements are as at and for the fiscal years ended December 29, 2019 and December 30, 2018 and include the accounts of the Company and its subsidiaries. The Company is a publicly listed entity and its shares are traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange and New York Stock Exchange under the symbol GIL.
