BUSINESS COMBINATIONS AND DIVESTITURES We completed no acquisitions during the nine months ended June 30, 2023 or during the year ended September 30, 2022. On October 7, 2022, we sold 100% of the membership interests of STR Mechanical, LLC and its subsidiary Technical Services II, LLC (collectively, “STR”). As a result, we recognized a pre-tax gain of $13,045, which was included in “Gain on sale of assets” within our Condensed Consolidated Statements of Comprehensive Income for the nine months ended June 30, 2023. The disposition of STR, which had operated as part of our Commercial & Industrial segment, will not have a material impact on our ongoing results of operations or financial position.
