Subsequent Events	Subsequent Events On July 5, 2017, the Company contributed its interest in Forbes Family Trust to Wealth Partners Capital Group, LLC (“WPCG”), in return for a minority equity interest in WPCG. WPCG is a new venture which will invest, through partner firms, in smaller wealth management firms. On July 12, 2017, the Company delivered a notice to redeem all $200.0 million principal amount outstanding of its 6.375% senior unsecured notes due 2042 at a redemption price equal to 100% of the principal amount. The Company will redeem the senior unsecured notes on August 15, 2017.
