He was promoted subsequently to positions of increasing responsibility, including regional vice president general manager of the Baltimore region in 2013 and the Los Angeles region in 2014.  Prior to joining CarMax, Mr. Newberry served as store manager and area manager for Bed, Bath and Beyond from 1994 to 2004.
