INCOME TAXES	H.       INCOME TAXES Effective tax rates differ from statutory federal income tax rates, primarily due to provisions for foreign, state and local income taxes and permanent tax differences.  Our effective tax rate was 25.3% in the second quarter of 2020 compared to 24.0% for same period in 2019.  Our effective tax rate was 25.1% in the first six months of 2020 compared to 24.1% for the same period in 2019.  The increase was primarily due to the foreign tax rate differential on foreign income and a reduction in state tax credits in 2020. ​
