Accounts Receivable	Accounts Receivable Accounts receivable are net of allowances for doubtful accounts of $22.4 million, $30.9 million, and $21.4 million as of September 30, 2017, September 30, 2016, and December 31, 2016, respectively. As a result of Toys “R” Us filing for bankruptcy in September 2017, Mattel reversed gross sales and accounts receivable of approximately $47 million, and reversed net sales of approximately $43 million in the three months ended September 30, 2017.

The entire disclosure for claims held for amounts due a entity, excluding financing receivables. Examples include, but are not limited to, trade accounts receivables, notes receivables, loans receivables. Includes disclosure for allowance for credit losses.
