During the second quarter of 2022, Mattel completed the sale of the American Girl corporate office and a distribution center located in Middleton, Wisconsin, which included land and buildings. Mattel received net proceeds from the sale of $23.8 million, which resulted in a pre-tax gain of $15.2 million, recorded in other selling and administrative expenses in the consolidated statement of operations.
