alstria leases 2,500 sqm in Stuttgart

Hamburg, March 20, 2013 – alstria office REIT-AG (symbol: AOX, ISIN: DE000A0LD2U1), the leading German office REIT, announces the signing of a lease agreement for its asset Ernsthaldenstraße 17, Stuttgart.

The asset, which was acquired by alstria in 2007 in a sale-and-leaseback transaction with Bilfinger Berger, has been vacated in February 2013. The new lease, which will start in the second half of the year, allows alstria to fully re-let the asset swiftly and limit the down period to the minimum extend possible.

Since alstria acquired the asset the like-for-like rent has increased by 5%.

The transaction was brokered by Colliers Bräutigam & Krämer GmbH.

'This leasing result reflects the ability of alstria's real estate operations to deliver on our strategy', says Olivier Elamine, CEO of alstria. 'Our leasing activity is running according to our plans and sometimes, as in this case, even faster than we have expected. The strong letting demand in the market is still extremely supportive.'
