In 2015, we sold our joint venture that supported our Food Care segment in Turkey. We recognized earnings before income tax provision of $9.1 million in 2015 related to this transaction.

Impairment of Equity Method Investments

We recognized an impairment of $5.7 million in 2014 in connection with certain equity method investments. These investments were not material to our consolidated financial position or results of operations.
