Cumulative Convertible Redeemable Preferred Stock:         On February 25, 1998, the Company issued 3,627,131 shares of Series A cumulative convertible redeemable preferred stock ("Series A Preferred Stock") for proceeds totaling $100,000 in a private placement. The preferred stock was convertible on a one-for-one basis into common stock and paid a quarterly dividend equal to the greater of $0.46 per share, or the dividend then payable on a share of common stock.         On October 18, 2007, the holder of the Series A Preferred Stock converted 560,000 shares to common shares. On May 6, 2008, the holder of the Series A Preferred Stock converted 684,000 shares to common shares. On May 8, 2008, the holder of the Series A Preferred Stock converted 1,338,860 shares to common shares. On September 17, 2008, the holder of the Series A Preferred Stock converted the remaining 1,044,271 shares to common shares.
