Income Taxes	3. Income Taxes TDS' overall effective tax rate on Income before income taxes for the three months ended March 31, 2014 and 2013 was 36.5% and 37.4%, respectively. The effective tax rate for the three months ended March 31, 2014 was lower than the rate for the three months ended March 31, 2013 primarily as a result of tax benefits from state law changes in 2014.

TDS' overall effective tax rate on Income before income taxes for the three months ended March 31, 2014 and 2013 was 36.5% and 37.4%, respectively.
