SUBSEQUENT EVENTS	NOTE 9 – SUBSEQUENT EVENTS  The Company has evaluated all events subsequent to the balance sheet date of May 31, 2017 through the date of issuance of these consolidated financial statements and has determined that, except as set forth below, there are no subsequent events that require disclosure.  Real Estate Transactions  In June 2017, the Company acquired land in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The Company plans to construct a warehouse club on this site, which it expects to open in the spring of calendar year 2018. This will bring the number of PriceSmart warehouse clubs operating in Dominican Republic to four.    In June 2017, the Company acquired land in Santa Elena, El Salvador. The Company plans to construct a parking lot on this site for trucking and employee parking.
