Goodwill	(7) Goodwill The Nitrogen Fertilizer Partnership completes its annual test for impairment of goodwill as of November 1 each year. The Nitrogen Fertilizer Partnership elected to perform a qualitative evaluation for the years ending December 31, 2014 and 2013 to determine whether it was necessary to perform the quantitative two step goodwill analysis described in ASC 350, "Intangibles - Goodwill and Other." After assessing the totality of events and circumstances, it was determined that it was not more likely than not that the fair value of the Nitrogen Fertilizer Partnership was less than the carrying value, and so it was not necessary to perform the two-step goodwill impairment analysis. Based on the results of the tests, no impairment of goodwill was recorded for any of the periods presented.
