Revenue from Contract with Customer [Abstract]
REVENUE RECOGNITION AND CONTRACTS WITH CUSTOMERS REVENUE RECOGNITION AND CONTRACTS WITH CUSTOMERS
All revenue recognized is a result of contracts with customers either through sales contracts or Alternate Feed Agreements.
As of December 31, 2018, the Company had one customer contract with material performance obligations remaining. The Company had not delivered material from its toll processing activities to the customer. The material was delivered in the first half of 2019 and the Company recognized $2.74 million.
The Company’s long-term contracts expired following the Company’s 2018 deliveries, and all uranium sales after 2018 will be required to be made at spot prices until the Company enters into new long-term contracts at satisfactory prices in the future. Revenue beyond our current contracts will be affected by both spot and long-term U3O8 price fluctuations which are beyond our control, including: the demand for nuclear power; political and economic conditions; governmental legislation in uranium producing and consuming countries; and production levels and costs of production of other producing companies, as well as fluctuations in the price of vanadium and the price of REEs, both of which are beyond the Company’s control.
