(e) On December 15, 2007 the Compensation Committee (the “Committee”) of the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of JDS Uniphase Corporation (the “Company”) approved a $100,000 bonus payment to Mr. Christopher S. Dewees, Senior Vice President, Corporate Development, and Chief Legal Officer of the Company.
