LEASES

The Company leases certain manufacturing and warehouse facilities, administrative office space, semi-tractors, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment through operating leases with unrelated third parties. The increase in lease costs for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2021 compared to the three and nine months ended September 30, 2020 was primarily driven by capacity expansions and leases assumed in recent acquisitions. The components of lease cost were as follows:
