Organization, Consolidation and Presentation of Financial Statements [Abstract]
Organization	Organization Hudson Pacific Properties, Inc. (which is referred to in these financial statements as the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Maryland corporation formed on November 9, 2009 that did not have any meaningful operating activity until the consummation of our initial public offering and the related acquisition of our predecessor and certain other entities on June 29, 2010 (“IPO”). Since the completion of the IPO and the related formation transactions, we have been a fully integrated, self-administered, and self-managed real estate investment trust (“REIT”). Through our controlling interest in Hudson Pacific Properties, L.P. (“our operating partnership” or the “Operating Partnership” and is also referred to in these financial statements as the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and its subsidiaries, we own, manage, lease, acquire and develop real estate, consisting primarily of office and media and entertainment properties. As of March 31, 2015, we owned a portfolio of 25 office properties and two media and entertainment properties. These properties are located in California and Washington. The results of operations for properties acquired after our IPO are included in our consolidated statements of operations from the date of each such acquisition.

Hudson Pacific Properties, Inc.
