NOTE G—INVENTORIES

At December 31, 2024 and 2023, inventories consisted of the following (in thousands):

For the years 2024, 2023 and 2022, the inventory reserve adjustment expensed for inventory was $3.4 million, $8.7 million and $4.9 million, respectively. For the years December 31, 2024, 2023 and 2022, the direct inventory write-offs related to scrap, discontinued products, and damaged inventories were $3.7 million, $10.6 million and $10.4 million, respectively.
