Note 5 — Property, Plant and Equipment, Net

Property, plant and equipment, net consisted of the following at January 2, 2015 and January 3, 2014 (in thousands):

Depreciation expense for the years ended January 2, 2015, January 3, 2014, and December 28, 2012, was approximately $2.1 million, $1.7 million, and $1.3 million, respectively.
