Supplementary Unrestricted Subsidiary Information

The following is presented as supplementary data as required by the Indenture governing the NRP Senior Notes due 2018 (the "Indenture"). As described in Note 2. Summary of Significant Accounting Policies, in February 2016, the Partnership designated NRP Oil and Gas, a wholly owned subsidiary of NRP, as an Unrestricted Subsidiary for purposes of the Indenture. In addition, the Partnership has designated BRP LLC, a joint venture in which the Partnership owns a 51% interest, and Coval Leasing Company, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of BRP LLC, as Unrestricted Subsidiaries for purposes of the Indenture. The information below may not necessarily be indicative of the results of operations, or financial position had the subsidiaries operated as independent entities. There were no transactions between the Partnership and its Restricted Subsidiaries and its Unrestricted Subsidiaries.
