The Company operates one primary business segment, retail grocery sales. “Other” includes our remaining operations - fluid dairy and shopping center rentals. Information about the Company’s operations by lines of business (amounts in thousands) is as follows:

The grocery category includes grocery, dairy, and frozen foods.

The non-foods category includes alcoholic beverages, tobacco, pharmacy, and health/beauty/cosmetic products.

The perishables category includes meat, produce, deli and bakery.

For the three-month periods ended June 27, 2020 and June 29, 2019, respectively, the fluid dairy operation had $11.2 million and $10.2 million in sales to the grocery sales segment. The fluid dairy had $35.0 million and $31.4 million in sales to the retail grocery segment for the nine-month periods ended June 27, 2020 and June 29, 2019, respectively. These sales have been eliminated in consolidation and are excluded from the amounts in the table above.
