INVESTMENT IN UNCONSOLIDATED AFFILIATE	13. INVESTMENT IN UNCONSOLIDATED AFFILIATE Through one of the subsidiaries, the Company has a 49% joint venture interest in a company which provides physical therapy services for patients at hospitals. Since the Company is deemed to not have a controlling interest in the joint venture, the Company’s investment is accounted for using the equity method of accounting. The investment balance of this joint venture as of June 30, 2022, is $12.3 million. For the six months ended June 30, 2022, the earnings amounted to$679 thousand and $548 thousand was distributed to the Company.
