Organization	1. Organization Dynavax Technologies Corporation (“we,” “our,” “us,” “Dynavax” or the “Company”), is a commercial stage biopharmaceutical company developing and commercializing novel vaccines. We launched our first product, HEPLISAV-B® [Hepatitis B Vaccine (Recombinant), Adjuvanted], in February 2018, following United States Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) approval for prevention of infection caused by all known subtypes of hepatitis B virus in adults age 18 years and older. We were incorporated in California in August 1996 under the name Double Helix Corporation, and we changed our name to Dynavax Technologies Corporation in September 1996. We reincorporated in Delaware in 2000.
