On July 4, 2025, the President signed into law the One Big Beautiful Bill Act ("OBBBA"). The OBBBA includes numerous changes to existing tax law including extending or making permanent certain business and international tax measures initially established under the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which were set to expire. The OBBBA permanently eliminates the requirement to capitalize and amortize U.S.-based research and experimental expenditures over five years, making these expenditures fully deductible in the period incurred. We expect this provision to result in a reduction of current income tax liabilities and a corresponding reduction to income tax expense. Additionally, we anticipate that these provisions will enhance our cash flows, as they reduce our overall tax liability. However, given the complexity of tax laws, related regulations, and evolving interpretations, our estimates may require revision as additional information becomes available regarding the application of the OBBBA provisions. We will continue to analyze the implications of the OBBBA and will reflect their impact on the financial statements in the period of enactment.
