14. DISCONTINUED OPERATIONS

During fiscal year 2009, the Company completed the exit of its retail business. Accordingly, certain operations of the Company’s former retail operations and certain sold properties had been classified as discontinued operations prior to the prospective adoption of ASU 2014-08 effective February 1, 2015. No items were reclassified as discontinued operations for fiscal years 2016 or 2015. Below is a table reflecting certain items of the Consolidated Statement of Operations that were reclassified as discontinued operations for fiscal year 2014 (amounts in thousands):
