8.COMMON STOCK

 

During fiscal years 2021 and 2020, the Company purchased approximately 84,000 shares and approximately 315,000 shares of its common stock for approximately $6.6 million and approximately $19.6 million, respectively. During fiscal year 2019, the Company did not purchase any of its common stock. At January 31, 2022, the Company had prior authorization by its Board of Directors to purchase, in open market transactions, an additional approximately 449,000 shares of its common stock.
