| Major Customers and Suppliers | (16) Major Customers and Suppliers Sales of nitrogen fertilizer to major customers, as a percentage of total net sales, were as follows:
The Partnership maintains contracts with CVR Energy and its affiliates. See Note 14 ("Related Party Transactions"). The Partnership currently buys several key raw materials through a single supplier, Linde, which owns, operates and maintains an air separation plant. The inability of Linde to perform in accordance with its contractual obligations could have a material adverse effect on the Partnership's results of operations, financial condition and ability to make cash distributions. CVR Energy maintains, for our benefit, contingent business interruption insurance with a $200.0 million limit for any interruption caused by physical damage to the air separation plant that results in a loss of production from an insured peril. |
