ACQUISITIONS	NOTE 6. ACQUISITIONS Since the adoption of ASU 2017-01, Clarifying the Definition of a Business, as of January 1, 2017, the Company's acquisitions of shopping center and other properties have been accounted for as acquisitions of assets. The Company includes the results of operations of real estate assets acquired in the consolidated statements of operations from the date of the related acquisition. 2020 Acquisition There were no acquisitions during 2020. 2019 Acquisition In October 2019, the Company acquired the former Boston store located at West Towne Mall for $5,700 in cash. The Company is in the process of redeveloping this space.  2018 Acquisitions In February 2018, the Company acquired the former Bon-Ton store located at Westmoreland Mall for $3,250 in cash. The Company redeveloped this space.
