Inventories at June 30, 2023 and December 31, 2022 consisted of the following:

During the six months ended June 30, 2023, inventory at Fox Complex and Gold Bar operations was written down to their estimated net realizable value by $1.0 million and $2.8 million, respectively. During the six months ended June 30, 2022, inventory at Fox Complex, El Gallo mine and Gold Bar operations were written down to their net realizable value by $1.6 million, $4.3 million and $nil respectively. Of these write-downs, $3.0 million (six months ended June 30, 2022 - $5.6 million) was included in production costs applicable to sales and $0.8 million (six months ended June 30, 2022 -  $0.3 million) was included in depreciation and depletion in the Statement of Operations.
