9 - ACCUMULATED OTHER COMPREHENSIVE INCOME (LOSS)

 

The components of AOCI included in the accompanying Condensed Consolidated Statements of Equity consist of net unrealized gains (losses) from investments in Jinhui stock and KLC stock.  The Company sold its remaining shares of Jinhui and KLC stock during the three months ended December 31, 2016.  Therefore, there was no AOCI activity recorded during the three and nine months ended September 30, 2017, and the opening AOCI balance at January 1, 2017 was $0.  Refer to Note 5 — Investments for further information.
