Segment Information	Note 14. Segment Information Operating segments are components of an enterprise where separate financial information is available that is evaluated regularly by the chief operating decision maker (the “CODM”), or decision-making group, in deciding how to allocate resources and in assessing performance. The Company’s CODM is the Cars.com President and Chief Executive Officer. The CODM makes resource allocation decisions to maximize the Company’s consolidated and combined financial results. The Company has one operating and reportable segment that generates revenue through two sales channels (Retail and Wholesale) which are presented on the Consolidated and Combined Statements of Income. The Company did not have any one customer that generated greater than 10% of total revenues in 2018, 2017 or 2016. Substantially all revenues were generated within the U.S. and all long-lived assets are located in the U.S.
