Income Taxes	Note 4 – Income Taxes Upon adoption of ASU 2016-09, as described in Note 12 – “Recent Accounting Pronouncements”, we now recognize excess tax benefits as a component of income tax expense. During the twenty-six weeks ended December 29, 2016 excess tax benefits of $726 were recorded as a component of income tax expense and favorably impacted the effective tax rate by approximately 2.1%.
