Standby Letters of Credit Policy

Guarantees – Standby letters of credit obligate the Company to meet certain financial obligations of its customers, if, under the contractual terms of the agreement, the customers are unable to do so.  The financial standby letters of credit issued by the Company are irrevocable and payment is only guaranteed upon the borrower’s failure to perform its obligations to the beneficiary.  Total commitments under standby letters of credit as of June 30, 2013 and June 30, 2012 were $66 and $75.  There was no liability recorded for these letters of credit at June 30, 2013 or June 30, 2012.
