Related Party Transactions Disclosure [Text Block]	21. Transactions with Related Parties From time to time, an engineering firm owned by Tavit Najarian, a relative of Ara K. Hovnanian, our Chairman of the Board of Directors and our Chief Executive Officer, provides services to the Company. During both the three months ended July 31, 2021 and 2020, the services provided by such engineering firm to the Company totaled $0.2 million. During the nine months ended July 31, 2021 and 2020, the services provided by such engineering firm to the Company totaled $0.4 million and $0.6 million, respectively. Neither the Company nor Mr. Hovnanian has a financial interest in the relative’s company from whom the services were provided.
