Subsequent Events [Text Block]	22. Subsequent Events On August 2, 2021, K. Hovnanian redeemed in full all of the $69.7 million aggregate principal amount of 10.5% 2024 Notes. The aggregate purchase price for this redemption was $71.9 million, which included accrued and unpaid interest and which was funded with cash on hand. This redemption will result in a loss on extinguishment of debt of $3.4 million for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2021, net of the write-off of unamortized financing costs and fees.
