Subsequent Events	18. SUBSEQUENT EVENTS Resolution of Subpoena from the Department of Health and Human Services In July 2019, the Company resolved the complaint filed by a qui tam relator in October 2017 in the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina.  The complaint was the basis of the Office of Inspector General (OIG) subpoena dated February 2018 regarding Medicare billing practices relating to the Company’s hereditary cancer testing from 2014 to 2018.  After a 17-month investigation, the Department of Justice declined to intervene in the case. The Company believes it demonstrated that the key allegations made in the complaint were false.  In order to avoid a lengthy and distracting litigation with the qui tam relator, the company entered into a settlement agreement on July 18, 2019 under which the Company would pay $9.1 million to the qui tam relator in order to settle the matter. That agreement is currently pending an approval by the Office of Inspector General. The Company denies any wrongdoing and does not anticipate any material change in billing practices.
