Sale of Subsidiary SALE OF SUBSIDIARYOn February 28, 2020, the Company closed the sale of the Clinic with Landkreis Starnberg. As a result of the sale, the Clinic was deconsolidated from the Company’s consolidated financial statements in accordance with ASC 810. The Company recorded a pre-tax net gain of $1.0 million on the sale, which was recorded in other income in the Company’s Consolidated Statements of Operations during the fiscal year ended June 30, 2020. The gain recorded consists of a pre-tax gain of $1.2 million associated with the settlement of the Clinic pension, offset by a loss of $0.2 million due to the difference between the purchase price and net assets as well as the effects of foreign currency. The Clinic was previously reported as part of the Company’s other segment.
