Bittium Corporation publishes this stock exchange release to comment on the
market information regarding the possible procurement of tactical radios by the
Spanish Armed Forces.
According to information received by Bittium Corporation, the Spanish Ministry
of Defense has launched a project to acquire new national software-based
tactical radios. According to the information received, Spain currently does not
have sufficient capabilities to manufacture the required systems, and therefore
the program will potentially supplement the national industrial expertise with
systems and technology already available on the market.
Bittium is evaluating the possibility of providing Bittium's technology to the
Spanish Armed Forces' tactical communications modernization project together
with its Spanish partner. Negotiations are still in the early stages, and there
are no commitments regarding the potential cooperation. The company also does
not have precise information on the size of the potential deal at this time.
