Subsequent Events [Text Block]	7. SUBSEQUENT EVENTS The Company has completed an evaluation of all subsequent events through the issuance date of these financial statements and concluded that no additional subsequent events occurred that required recognition in the financial statements or disclosures in the Notes to Consolidated Financial Statements, except for the adoptions of a Clawback policy with which Executive Officers will be required to repay or return Erroneously Awarded Compensation to Daily Journal Corporation and an Inside Trade Policy with respect to transactions in the securities of Daily Journal Corporation effective October 1, 2023.

The entire disclosure for significant events or transactions that occurred after the balance sheet date through the date the financial statements were issued or the date the financial statements were available to be issued. Examples include: the sale of a capital stock issue, purchase of a business, settlement of litigation, catastrophic loss, significant foreign exchange rate changes, loans to insiders or affiliates, and transactions not in the ordinary course of business.
