Billed accounts receivable represents amounts billed to customers that have yet to be collected. Unbilled accounts receivable represents revenue recognized but billed after period end. All unbilled receivables as of December 31, 2020 and March 31, 2020 are expected to be billed and collected (subject to the reserve for allowance for doubtful accounts) within twelve months.

The Company recorded $187 and $415 of bad debt expense during the three and nine months ended December 31, 2020 , and $56 and $184 of bad debt expense during the three and nine months ended December 31, 2019.
